With 14 years of dive experience and around 200 dives, Michael is ready to take on the role of Divemaster. He is excited to pass on the knowledge and experience that he has gained over the years to new students and to share with them the joys of diving. The peace and tranquility of being underwater, where the stresses of topside life do not interfere, is the key enjoyment of diving for Michael and he hopes to show potential divers that side of the sport. His ideal dive destinations include Belize and Roatan, though he and his Mary, who is a Master Scuba Diver, plan to add many more locations to that list. Michael holds additional specialty certifications such as Underwater Navigation, Air Consumption, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Oxygen Provider, Fish Identification, Dry Suit, Deep and Enriched Air Nitrox.
Michael has a background in Communications in the US Army and currently works as a Telecommunications Technician. When he is not teaching or diving, Michael enjoys riding motorcycles and auto detailing.
