In the summer of 2013, Lauren was working as a Flight Attendant for United Airlines and was assigned to work a flight to Cozumel. Little did she know that on that Cozumel flight, her life and career would take an unexpected turn when she had a chance encounter with two of her passengers. Those passengers happened to be Tonya and Bill Merritt. During the flight, Lauren and Tonya got along famously, resulting in Tonya asking Lauren to come work for her, and the rest is history. Lauren is now the Assistant Manager at Gigglin’ Marlin and is about to join the amazing teaching staff as a PADI Divemaster. She is eager to continue her dive training and expand her knowledge of underwater world and all it has to offer.
