Matt is a Houston native, his career has been spent developing embedded system management software for high speed storage servers.
Matt enjoys traveling with his wife Amanda. Since Houston has such easy access to the Caribbean and Mexico, Matt and Amanda have visited locations such as: Bonaire, Grenada, Cozumel, and Dominican Republic. Together with Doug Jones and others at Gigglin Marlin we also traveled to Raja Ampat in Indonesia this year.
Today Matt splits his time between engineering and diving, logging over three hundred dives in the last few years. He became a divemaster with Gigglin Marlin over a year ago and has assisted with open water training courses since.
Matt enjoys seeing the joy on new divers faces when they complete their Open Water dives and become PADI certified divers.
