The Discover Scuba Diving Course
Note: Completing a DSD course does NOT certify you as an open water diver. You will still need to take one of our Open Water Diver courses to become certified.
The Fun Part
Get introduced to the skills essential to scuba diving! Gain confidence underwater and learn what it takes to explore the underwater world.
What You Learn
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a certified Dive Instructor. You will:
- Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
- Have fun swimming around and exploring.
- Hear about becoming a certified diver through the Open Water Diver course.
The Scuba Gear You Use
You will use all the basic scuba gear. We have everything you will need at our shop.
The Learning Materials You Need
You will need the DSD Participant Guide, which is available for purchase in our shop. We will provide you will all the gear you need.
