Regulator Safety Information
- Regular inspection and servicing by a qualified technician are critical for ensuring optimal performance and safety. Do not modify or attempt repairs yourself, as this may compromise functionality and will void warranties. - Always conduct a pre-dive check, use appropriate redundancy measures, and never exceed your training limits. - Mares regulators can only be used in conjunction with certified octopus second stages. Consult your local dive shop if you are unsure what octopus to get. - When diving in cold water, if SCUBA equipment is configured and used by more than one diver at the same time, the performance of the system may not fulfil the requirements of EN 250. Therefore, an octopus should not be used during dives in cold water. Use of two independent first stage/second stage combinations is recommended for cold water diving. - Please follow the instructions contained in the MANUAL.
